The Greek Island of Kos is part of the Dodecanes group of Islands.

The Greek Island of Kos.

The Greek Island of Kos lies off the coast of Turkey. Unlike many Greek Islands Kos is quite flat, especially in the north,  which makes it a very popular island for cycling, there are many places to hire bicycles.

Kos is an ideal location for a beach holiday with many long sandy beaches to explore. For a more active day out there are some of the best archaeological sites to be found in the Mediterranean.

Excursions to the nearby Islands are plentiful as well as daily sea crossings to Turkey, Bodrum being a popular day trip.

All in all the Island of Kos offers a broad appeal to holidaymakers seeking sun, sea, sand and activities.
